Guide to Relief from Bad Odour
-
Sprinkle cinnamon on aluminum foil and place it in a hot oven, leaving the door open. As the cinnamon heats, the cinnamon will permeate the house.
-
Boil water with a little ammonia OR put a spoonful of coffee in a container and heat in a oven to deodorize your kitchen.
-
Remove stubborn lingering odors from pots and pans by either boiling with vinegar and water OR wash with a baking soda and water solution.
-
Sweeten the smell of your disposal by feeding it the rind of a lemon, orange or grapefruit.
-
Strong odors on your hands (such as onions or fish) can be removed by lightly wetting your hands and then sprinkling on baking soda. Rub the soda all over the hands, then rinse the soda away -- along with the odors.
-
Leave slices of fresh apple in an area with strong odors. After 2-3 days, the apple slices will be brown & dry and the stale air will be replaced with fresh apple scents.
