Remove a Oil Stain from Your Clothing
Problem: How do I remove Oil stains from clothing?
Here's a cleaning tip: Perspiration stains are caused by body oils, mineral salts and enzymes mixing together on fabrics. If they are not removed, they can weaken and discolor fabric. To remove the stains from washables, soak for 30 minutes to an hour in an enzyme based stain remover, then launder in warm water. If stain has discolored fabric, use a bleach that is safe for the fabric. For dry cleanable, blot at the stain with Stanley's Orange Miracle™ All Purpose Spot & Stain Remover (A3345 ) starting from the outside of the stain working inward. Flush with water and pat dry, working from the outside ring of the stain to the inside to prevent the stain from remaining in the form of a ring.
Remaining Perspiration Odor: Even after washing clothes repeatedly to remove perspiration stains, the perspiration odor may remain. To eliminate the odor, add 1/2 cup of white vinegar or ammonia to the washing machine rinse.
