Do you always seem to get scratches on your eyeglasses?
Problem: Do you always seem to get scratches on your eyeglasses?
Here's Stanley Eye Glasses Cleaning Tip: Most eye glass lenses today are plastic, which is more susceptible to scratches. To avoid scratches on plastic lenses, always clean, and then polish the lenses with a lint-free cloth.
Clean nose pads and frames as accumulated dirt and salt from perspiration will eventually transfer to the lenses.
Use either a clean piece of cotton cloth or a special lens cleaning cloth. Avoid using tissue to dry eye glasses. After eye glasses and lenses are clean and dry, a periodic application of 3-in-1 oil on the hinges will reduce future accumulation of corrosive salt. Always store glasses in an eye glasses case to protect lenses.
